Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and experience of building, maintaining and generating lists from databases; mail-merging of group correspondence, invitations, etc 

Ability to deal calmly and professionally with the unexpected  High degree of literacy and ability to draft correspondence, reports and minutes clearly and succinctly 

Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills; ability to plan and priorities own workload 

Ability to work independently and use own initiative where appropriate; and to know when to refer decisions upwards 

Ability to deal sensitively and discretely with confidential information
